Bob Blumer, host of the Food Network (Canada) TV show World’s Weirdest Restaurants, visited a tavern in Japan where his waiter turned out to be a remarkably professional monkey.

Blumer, however, wasn’t weirded out. “He was better than a lot of waiters,” he says when asked if the macaque monkey (in a Japanese tavern) was a good server. “You gotta cut a monkey a lot of slack. He brought the beer, the opener and napkin. He didn’t piss in the soup.”
